Last JobPrivacy Policy
This policy explains how the operator of Last Job ("we") handles personal data when you use lastjob.app. We collect as little as we can.
What we collect
- Account data: your email address (used to sign in with a one-time link).
- Files and results: the files you upload and what we produce from them.
- Job and wallet records: jobs, prices, credit history.
- Payment data: handled by Stripe. We receive a payment reference, amount, and billing country — never your full card number.
- Technical data: basic logs (such as IP address and device type) needed to run and secure the service.
- Search text you type in the app when no matching job exists, so we can learn what to build next.
- Notifications: if you turn on job notifications on a device, we store that device's push address (issued by your browser maker, such as Google, Apple, Mozilla or Microsoft) so we can tell you when a job is ready. Turn it off any time in Account; addresses that stop working are deleted automatically. We also email your account address about your own jobs and watched pages.
Why we use it
- To provide jobs you request, keep your account and wallet working, and give support (performing our contract with you).
- To prevent fraud and abuse and keep the service secure (legitimate interests).
- To keep financial and tax records (legal obligation).
We do not sell your data, we do not show ads, and we do not use your files to train AI models.
Who processes data for us
- Cloudflare — hosting, security and AI processing for automated jobs.
- Supabase — database, sign-in and file storage.
- Stripe — payments, tax calculation and invoices.
- Your browser's push service (Google, Apple, Mozilla or Microsoft) — delivers notifications you turned on; the message content is encrypted end-to-end.
- Vetted independent specialists — only for jobs where you choose a "checked by a person" or "done by a specialist" option, and only the files for that job, under confidentiality terms.
Some of these providers may process data outside your country, including in the United States, using legally recognised safeguards such as standard contractual clauses.
How long we keep it
- Uploaded files and results: deleted automatically after 7 days.
- Account, job and wallet records: while your account is open, then deleted within 30 days of your request, except payment records we must keep for tax law (typically up to 7 years).
Cookies
We use only what is needed to keep you signed in (stored in your browser) and privacy-friendly, cookie-free analytics. No advertising or tracking cookies.
Your rights
Depending on where you live (for example under the EU/UK GDPR or US state privacy laws) you can ask to access, correct, export or delete your data, or object to certain uses. Email support@lastjob.app and we will respond within 30 days. You may also complain to your local data protection authority.
Children
Last Job is not intended for anyone under 18.
Changes
If we change this policy materially we will tell you in the app or by email.
